The Road to 2027: What the Stars Are Saying From Now Until the New Year 🌙✨
Hello my loves, and welcome back to MoonLit Thoughts.
Can we be honest for a second? It has been a lot lately. So many of us have been feeling tired, anxious, overstimulated, and like the world is spinning faster than we can keep up with. If that's you, I want you to know you're not alone, and you're not imagining it.
The sky has been incredibly busy, and the next few months are no exception. We have a double retrograde, powerful Full Moons, a rare harmonious aspect between two outer planets, and several major planets changing direction right before the holidays. It's a season of review, truth, and slowly moving forward.
So let's walk through it together, month by month, so you know what to expect and how to take care of yourself along the way. Always remember, this isn’t meant to worry , scare or move you into a different direction. The intention for my insight is always to ground and prepare you for anything that may come our way… and most importantly to remind you… you are powerful, prepared and protected! Let's get to it
The Big Picture
Before we get into the dates, here's why this whole year has felt like such a turning point.
Earlier in 2026, Saturn and Neptune met at the very first degree of Aries, which is the first degree of the entire zodiac. That's a once in a generation meeting, and it marked the start of a brand new cycle for all of us. Saturn is structure and responsibility. Neptune is dreams, faith, and the unseen. Together they are dissolving old ways of living and slowly building new ones.
That's why so many of us feel stuck between two worlds. The old way isn't working anymore, and the new way isn't fully here yet. It feels uncomfortable because it is uncomfortable. But this is how every new chapter begins.
At the same time, Uranus is in Gemini, shaking up the way we communicate, share information, and use technology. Pluto is in Aquarius, bringing power and control into the light and reminding us that real strength lives in community. And Jupiter is in Leo, turning up the volume on leadership, pride, creativity, and anyone who loves a spotlight.
The message tying it all together is beautiful in its own way. We are being asked to lean on each other, trust our intuition, and build something better together.
Late September: Gather Your Harvest
We start with the Harvest Full Moon in Aries on September 26. This Moon sits right next to Neptune, which makes emotions strong and intuition even stronger. It's asking us to honor our feelings while being honest about the stories we attach to them.
Right after, Mars moves into Leo, bringing a boost of confidence and courage. You may feel ready to speak up, stand tall, and be seen.
My guidance: Take stock of what you've grown this year. Celebrate your wins, release what didn't work, and give yourself credit for how far you've come.
October: The Great Review
October slows things down in a big way.
October 3: Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio. Venus rules love, money, and self worth, so these areas are going under review. Old relationships may resurface, financial habits may need a closer look, and you may find yourself asking what you truly value. This isn't the best time for big purchases, drastic beauty changes, or rushing into new commitments.
October 10: New Moon in Libra. A gentle reset for relationships and balance. With Venus retrograde, this is better for repairing and reconnecting than starting brand new.
Mid October: Pluto stations direct in Aquarius, and things that felt stuck all summer start moving forward again, especially long term changes in our lives and communities.
October 23: Scorpio season begins. The energy gets deeper, more intuitive, and more emotional. The veil thins as we move toward Samhain, and it's a beautiful time to honor your ancestors.
October 24: Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio. Now both Venus and Mercury are retrograde at once. Expect secrets and old conversations to come back up, along with the usual tech hiccups, travel delays, and miscommunications. Back up your phone, double check what you sign, and let information settle before you react.
October 26: The Hunter's Moon in Taurus. This Full Moon brings a focus on security, money, food, and home. It forms a tense angle with Pluto, so you may feel some pressure around what makes you feel safe. It's a great time to ground yourself, tend to your home, and take practical steps toward feeling secure.
My guidance for October: Slow down, review, and protect your peace. This month isn't about rushing. It's about getting clear.
November: The Turning Point
November is the most active month of this stretch, and the middle of the month is where the energy peaks.
Early November: Mercury meets the Sun in the heart of its retrograde, often a moment when the truth suddenly clicks into place. Around November 9, the New Moon in Scorpio offers a powerful reset for shadow work and letting go.
November 12: Jupiter meets the South Node in Leo. This is a big moment for leadership and ego, both in the world and in our own lives. What's been puffed up may start showing its cracks, and we're being asked to lead with our hearts instead of our pride.
November 13 and 14: Mercury and Venus both station direct. Big sigh of relief. Communication clears up, plans move forward, and money matters start to settle.
November 16: Mars meets Jupiter in Leo. This is bold, fiery, dramatic energy. Big moves, big statements, and big feelings. Tempers can run hot, so choose your battles wisely and channel this fire into something creative or physical.
November 24: Full Moon Supermoon in Gemini, close to Uranus. Expect surprises. Sudden news, unexpected messages, and possible tech or travel disruptions, especially around the holiday. Build in extra time and keep a sense of humor.
November 25: Mars moves into Virgo, shifting our focus to health, routines, work, and taking care of the details. Your body will ask for more attention through the end of the year.
November 29: Uranus forms an exact trine to Pluto. This is one of the most hopeful aspects of the whole year. It points to breakthroughs in technology, energy, and the way we connect, along with everyday people finding their power by working together.
My guidance for November: Stay grounded through the fiery middle of the month, take care of your body, and hold on to hope. The end of the month brings real movement.
December: Moving Forward Again
December is when several big planets change direction, and you may feel the shift in your body and spirit.
December 2: Jupiter trines Chiron, a lovely healing aspect bringing courage and hope.
December 8: New Moon in Sagittarius. Set intentions around faith, freedom, truth, and the future you want.
December 10: Saturn stations direct in Aries. Plans that have been on pause start moving again, and it's time to take responsibility and build.
December 12: Neptune stations direct and Jupiter stations retrograde on the same day. This is a big one. The fog starts to lift, illusions begin to fall away, and what's been overinflated starts to come back down to earth. It can feel a little shaky, but truth always brings freedom in the end.
December 21: Winter Solstice. The darkest night of the year and the promise that the light is coming back.
December 23 and 24: Full Moon Supermoon in Cancer. The last Full Moon of the year shines on home, family, and emotional roots. The holidays may feel extra tender, so hold your people close and be gentle with yourself.
My guidance for December: Let the truth come out, lean into your family and community, and walk into the new year slowly and intentionally. Mars goes retrograde in Virgo on January 10, so 2027 begins with a thoughtful, steady energy rather than a rush.
How to Take Care of Yourself Through It All
Protect your energy. Cleanse your space and your body often, especially after heavy news or hard conversations. Keep your spiritual practice close.
Limit the noise. Stay informed, but don't let the news live in your spirit all day. Set boundaries with your screen time.
Prepare with wisdom, not fear. Keep your home stocked with the basics, back up your devices, and give yourself a little financial cushion if you can.
Rest without guilt. The retrogrades are slowing us down for a reason. Let them.
Lean on your people. Community is our greatest strength right now. Check on your friends, your family, and your neighbors.
Find joy on purpose. Laugh, dance, cook something good, get outside, and hug your loved ones. Joy is medicine.
